All A Capella LIVE! 2011

All A Capella LIVE! is a bit of an unconventional show in that it’s a live radio, before a live theater audience. The show is produced by WERS 88.9FM in Boston and presents an A Capella singing competition of the select Massachussetts collegiate A Cappella groups. Each group arrived only for a brief soundcheck prior to the show. There was, essentially, no tech time for the pieces, so the show was run live and followed the flow of the performances. The show carried a basic, yet regal look, lending itself to the variety of songs chosen by the groups. From Disney to Beyonce, all sides of the spectrum were covered audibly and thus complimented visually.
